I am writing to inform you that after careful consideration, I will be retiring from my medical practice and will be stepping down as your primary care physician by the end of August 2026.

Over recent years Marpole Medical has been in the enviable position of managing to recruit very capable physicians, all of whom are in the earlier phases of their careers. This will allow me to seamlessly transfer your care to one of these physicians and Marpole Medical can continue to be your (and your family's) medical home.

You will be receiving an e-mail (or, in some instances, a letter) from Marpole Medical advising you which physician will be taking over your care.

Please note that after I have stopped working, any prescriptions refills will require an appointment with your new physician. Also ensure that when you access Hospital Services, Emergency, Urgent Care, Laboratory, Medical Imaging and Specialist services that this change in your primary care physician is reflected. It is your responsibility to inform of the changes.

It has been a great pleasure and privilege to have been your primary care provider for all of these years (some of you for more than 30!). Thank you for entrusting me with your care.
