We are NOT a Walk-in Clinic. For clarification, walk-in patients do not have a family doctor at our clinic.

Driver's medical examinations are performed in person at the medical clinic.
You will need to bring a form provided by ICBC for the doctor to fill out.There are two types of driver’s medical examination reports uninsured (orange stripe) and partially-insured (blue stripe)

Our clinic no longer does Annual Physical in asymptomatic patients but instead do Preventative Health visits which are 15 minutes.
The Medical Services Plan does not cover routine or periodic complete examinations. These annual "check-ups" are not evidence-based. Complete physical exams (CPx) should only be completed if there is a medical indication to do so.
Example indications for a CPx:
A new diagnosis such as cancer or heart failure that requires an in-depth review of care and screening;
A new worrisome symptom such as unexplained weight loss, night sweats, or dyspnea.
A patient with a chronic disease.
Someone at increased risk due to age.

Our clinic is NOT offering routine child immunization; please visit www.immunizebc.ca to schedule immunization for your child.

There is a new method for cervical cancer screening that is replacing the traditional PAP test – cervical self-screening. Cervix self-screening can be done in the comfort of your own home and has been shown to be more effective and accurate than the PAP test. Please refer to this web link for more information and to request a kit. BC Cancer Screening If you still wish to have your pap done in our office, please telephone our office.
Vacation Schedules
Dr. McGuire will be away from April 7 to April 18, 2025. Dr. Hillman will be covering in her absence. Any appointments booked on these dates will be automatically booked with Dr. Hillman.
Before scheduling an appointment, please note that the Medical Services Plan (MSP) covers a maximum of one medical visit per patient each day.
